White Scar Cave is a cave located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, England. The caves geology is Carboniferous limestone and is 1 mile long making it the longest show cave in Britain.

In 1991, a 65-metre sloping tunnel was built which connects the cave with the Battlefield Cavern.

THE FACE

In the Battlefield Cavern, on the rocks there is a white shape formed from the mineral calcite which forms the shape of a witch hence why the feature is called “The Face”.
